Alamo which would you pick?

Hi been hiding on here getting lots of advice but this is my first post. I have booked a full size car with alamo Brits and want to upgrade, it is £60 for a standard SUV or £62 for a premium car. I have seen the different types of cars but as I know nothing about them it really doesn't help.

It will be my first time driving over there.

I was just wondering what would you choose if it was your decision and why?

It really depends on how many people will be in your car and how much time you'll be driving. How many pieces of luggage will you be bringing? A full size car should be enough for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) with 4 bags. You won't be getting much more room with a standard SUV or a premium car. Save your $$ and stick with the full size and have a magical trip!!

Full size or SUV will probably seem immense to you. I lived in England for a good part of my life and what I thought was a large vehicle there was just small by US/Canada standards.
I'd pick the Full-size, usually you will find that a Premium is just a fully loaded Full size (ie: a full size car may be a 2014 Chevrolet Impala whereas a Premium may be the same 2014 Impala but the LSX model with all the bells and whistles - backup camera, navigation, heated seats etc).
As you are renting from Alamo, you typically rent a specific type of vehicle (ie: full-size) and then after check-in you go out to the lot and pick something you like from the full-size aisle which can have several different types of full size vehicles (Chev Impala, Toyota Camry, Mazda 6, Dodge Charger, Ford Fusion etc etc) in the past we have also been directed to the SUV aisle if there wasn't much available or we didn't like what was available on the full-size aisle.
With the aisles at Alamo, you can quite frequently find vehicles that are above there rated class ie: finding a Premium or Luxury on the full-size aisle or an SUV, even came across a convertible one time.
Whatever you pick, drive safe and have fun and don't forget... we drive on the wrong side of the road over here
