We always use Hertz but for some reason this upcoming trip the price was high. We are going with Alamo this time. What is the procedure with Alamo at MCO? With Hertz we went down a level after getting luggage and hopped on the shuttle to the location. I believe Alamo is at MCO? Could someone please walk me through it step by step so there is no surprises. Thank you very much.

After you get your luggage you will go down another level to ground transportation. (ground level) If you have joined Alamo's club, paid in advance, or did online checkin you can skip the inside counter and go straight to the garage. You will just walk outside and there is a walkway that leads to the garage for all auto rental companies inside MCO. There are signs posted to gear you in the right direction. I do believe Alamo is on the ground level. I know National is, and Alamo is the sister of Nat'l. It's actually pretty easy process.
If you need to go to the rental counter they are also on the ground level, you can't miss them.
Not sure if you'll be coming into A or B terminal, but I would think the layout is the same on both sides. We fly DL into MCO and it is in B.
You can also do a google on MCO and will give you layout and info this way you can actually see for yourself.

Thanks, so it is get luggage, down the escalators and the Alamo desk is right there? Or is it down escalators cross into parking garage and the desk is inside the garage? I will need to check in at the desk.

You got it:)
Down the escalator or elevator to ground level, and the in-terminal rental counters are pretty much right there.
After checking in at the counter, you'll then go across the street to the garage. Take the escalator or elevator to the 2nd. floor.
There are signs to guide you right to where the Alamo vehicles are located.

I always book with Alamo when we travel. They are wonderful! In all my travels all over the world they have been the best. I will tell you I will never book with Avis again. AWFUL!! Maybe they should spend more $ on their customer service and upkeep of their cars then on those goofy ads. Just my opinion though. :teeth:

You can checkin online up to 30 days before your arrival. This means you can bypass the counter and go straight to the garage, pick a car and leave.
