Alamo vs. Budget at LAX

We plan to rent a car for the week we are at DLR. Any feedback on Alamo or Budget at LAX??

We have used Budget out of LAX, and it was fine. Easy in, easy out.. Good deal. Lately though, Alamo has had better deals.

Anyone know how alamo is out of LAX? We are flying in Tuesday. We did Budget last time we were there but haven't done Alamo... any insight?

Hi, I know nothing about the two choices you have listed, however I wanted to let you know that I had been pricing car rentals for our DLR trip renting at SNA airport, and I found that Hotwire saved us well over $100 for the week (we are renting a minivan). They use only major car rentals, BUT you don't know which one until you book it and pay for it. (You are sent the agency details immediately after paying). You choose which car catergory you want and the dates, and they will give you a price before you decide. We ended up with Alamo and like I said, saved over $100 from Alamo's listed pricing for the same dates. Just a thought, it took me a month of researching before I came across this!
