Alamo SUVs: What is available besides the Trailblazer?

We just booked the Chevy Equinox. I think it is a bit smaller, but they are running a GREAT special on the Equinox. We got 12 days in May for $275.00 all inclusive!

Last September Alamo had the Equinox as the MID size SUV.
They offered the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Chevy Trailblazor as FULL size
SUV. We had a choice of whatever SUV we wanted when we went to pick up the SUV in the parking lot. The gas mileage was horrible on the FULL SUV's,but we needed the space. The mid size does not have nearly as much cargo space as the full size - Just a FYI.

Yes it is. We had one last month through Natonal. Nice car.

Alamo gets its fleet from GM so Trailblazer, Cherokee & Buick (forget model name - Rondevouz maybe?) are considered it's full size. The Equinox is considered mid-size. We are a family of 4 & get a Trailblazer more so for the luggage than passenger room. It's just easier. As for gas mileage, I drive a Suburban at home so I don't really notice any difference.

We just got a Buick Rendezvous, nice size and a V-6 so it doesn't suck gas like a standard V-8 SUV, just not as much power when you tromp on it!

We had an Equinox reserved two weeks ago. We ended up with a Trailblazer, as there were no Equinox's in the SUV row.

The interesting thing is the guy tried to get me to upgrade to a larger SUV. There are only three of us, so I said no. Then, we get over to the garage and had to pick a vehicle from a row marked "SUV" There were two SUV's left in the row, both Trailblazers. Glad I didn't spend extra to upgrade!

Same as the Equinox but made by Pontiac.

I've also seen Saturn Vues with the Equinoxs. This is basically the same car, with very minute differences between the two cars besides name
