Alamo Rental just dropped rates

I have been booked with ALamo using a code found on the COstco website. I am renting from March 18-28 pick up in Orlando returning car in Ft.Myers. My rate previoulsy was 315.00 just looked it up now and it dropped to 255.00. This is for a full size auto, Chevy Impala. It is the last code on the Alamo site, good luck hope this helps anybody who wants to have more money for the parks and not the rental...

So glad I could help! I have found over the past several weeks that every few days the amount has gone down so just keep an eye on it. WOOHOO to saving that $100.00...

I check about every day. It goes down, then it goes up higher than my prior rate...right now it's back up, but since I'm arriving 2 days after you hopefully it will be down again in a couple days.

Thanks for this ! I had orginally booked through Dollar, but when in to check the rates--ended up using BJ's as we do not have a COSTCO card...still, saved $40 off of our orginal good rate on a minivan from 3/11-19!

Try adjusting your times, like 1/2 hr each way....don't know why but sometimes this works.
Also, click on the free upgrade and don't forget about the Walmart code from mousesavers if you are not using any other codes.

For my May trip I got a midsize for 7 days for $124 total with taxes and fees with this:

It jumped back up a few days ago though and is now at $216.

I've been watching for awhile-- that was the best I've found so far after trying a lot of different codes.
You have to use a Visa to rent it.

The code I used is from Costco. The ID#7014627 Coupon Code#AF4499SDY. You can find a variety of codes @ Costcl's website under travel under car rentals. I personally have never been asked for the coupon or my Costco card, neither has a friend of mine, but it does say it will be asked for. So try at your own risk, I did and it was fine. Some people have suggested to use the KIOSK once you get there. Good luck to all..

This code worked the best for me because I am renting for 10 days HOWEVER there are many other coded listed on that page along with other companies. Also check out CarRentals.com they had very good rates as well.

I usually price line however; in February, I did not. I had a great coupon code for Alamo that I used. It was something like $11 for a compact. Since only one of my kids was with us (we went for the race), I did not need a van.

Anyway, with Alamo/National you go out to the marked row and pick a car. THe compacy row was full of mini-vans. So, we got a minivan for $11!!!!

In the future, I think I am going to take my chances and see what is in the aisle. Sometimes, it will work, sometimes it wont....I do think I am going to try it!
