Alamo Online checkin

Has anyone done this before at MCO? We usually rent from Enterprise but got a great rate from Alamo. If I do the online check in how does it work to pick out a car? We arrive tomorrow around 1:40pm and have an economy car picked out.

Thanks for any info from someone who has done this, I'm still trying to decide if it will be worth it or not.

Checkin online, when you get to the Alamo garage find the row with your class, put your stuff in it (the keys will be in the door) and proceed to the exit where you will show your license and credit card to the attendant.

Great, I guess we will go ahead and try it. I'm assuming there are pretty clear directions to the Alamo garage from the terminal?

Last year we had no problem finding Alamo in the airport, and when we got outside to the car area, there was someone there to point you towards the right aisle. Easy and well worth skipping the lines!

We did this for our trip two weeks ago and it was great. I printed out the receipt given after doing the on-line check-in and we just went across to the garage. We had a full-size SUV rented so I just asked the Alamo agent that was walking around if we were all set and where the row was. She checked our paperwork and actually went into the booth there and handed us the keys to a new Chevy Tahoe and we were off. We then just stopped at the exit and showed our licenses and off we went. Took less than 15 from the time we got to the garage and were out the exit. We will definitely be doing it again. Doesn't work if you have a coupon though, you would then have to go to the kiosk but if you are being given the option for on-line check-in you will be all set.

Last trip we entered the garage (on foot) and exited the garage (in a car) in less than 20 minutes. That included loading our stuff (4 people) getting in line to exit (we were 3erd) and then checking out. Have all drivers licenses and you credit card in hand with the copy of your resi and hand it over. You can that kinda time just in line at the counter.


Get off the plane, just follow the mob to baggage (you'll take the train), then follow the signs to rental cars and cross the street. Easy peasy lemon squeazy.
