Alamo OLCI -Child seat/sat nav

Hi

I have done alamo OLCI but as we need a child seat-just a booster and a sat nav, will we still need to go to the desk anyway to collect these ?

It is rarely a good idea to rent a car seat/booster seat from a rental car company.

Just as easy to bring a low back booster with you on the airplane (it can be your child's carryon along w/ their personal item). A low back booster fits within the carryon requirements and fits easily in the overhead bin.

AND...if a child is young enough to require using a harnessed car seat, they should use one on the airplane as well so no need to rent one!

We have traveled repeatedly with both car seats (used on the plane) and booster seats (carry ons) and it really isn't a problem...just one more thing to carry.

Jo, have you prepaid for Satnav? If not is there anyway you have time to buy it here? you can usually pick up on Ebay for about £50 or buy in Wlamart when you get there for about £50, if you don't want it sell again on return and you should mor eor less get your money back, Alamo are very expensive on rental items like Satnav and car seats.

My Daughter is 8 so only needs a high back booster or booster cushion, don't think I can be bothered to bring as carry on luggage with everything else we have to carry. At most I may put her booster cushion in a suitcase if I can fit it. We have platinum ins so included.
Re sat Nav because we booked through Virgin before a certain date we get one included for free ando this is confirmed on my OLCI confirmation.Wouldn't bother with one otherwise as only intend ging to disney/sea world and Kennedy space centre.
