I found a discount code for a minivan rental through www.Alamo.com for Walt Disney World(MCO Orlando International Airport) for 129.90(plus surchages) a week! really hard to beat that deal.

Is there some type of Coupon associated with the coupon code? I would like to try my dates but want to make sure I don't need a coupon when we check in.

I checked rates for a friend of mine using those codes and it told me the read the terms and conditions on the coupon before agreeing to the rates. My question is do you have the physical coupon and if so what are the terms and conditions from the coupon? I don't want them to be stuck with a rate and something on the coupon that would not apply to them.

When i reserved the minivan and got my comfirmation letter, it does not state anything about having a coupon. I will also call Alamo tommorrow and ask them what i need when i pick up the car. I will post what i find out tommorrow.

With that said, i am going to be in Florida Feb 7th. The rental is supposed to be picked up on a sun, mon, or tues. However, i will post on Feb 8th if they ask me for the coupon when i get to the counter.

You can get the coupon from the Entertainment guide for Orlando. Right now the guide is $20 with free shipping. if you use it just for the car rental it easily pays for itself. The guide has tons of coupons for restaurants(sit down, fastfood,etc) car rentals, hotels,etc. Make sure you order the one for Orlando, FL 32806.

and check all the codes the have there. i tried my dates again with alamo and the walmart code,which anyone can use, and got a rate of $160.95+taxes/fees would still be under $200. It equals out to $25 a day which,in my opinion, is still very cheap for a minivan.

That has been the cheapest rate I've come across yet for Jan.
But, when I went to book it, it said a "discount coupon" was used.
What kind of code was this and do I need an actual coupon when I check in?

To use this code with Alamo was $141.00 for me.
L&M rental was $159.00

No use for me to get this guide for the coupon

I would definately reccommend getting the book for your next trip. the discounts and coupons for food, car rentals are awesome. they even have coupons for pebbles@crossroads, arthurs 27, bennigans, pizza hut, mcdonalds, dq, baskin robins, popeyes, church's, sonic, domino's pizza, footlocker, champs, kb toys, radioshack, target, cinemark & amc theatres, disney on ice, put put golf, etc.
definately worth the $20 shipped to your door.

I looked in my 2005 book. It's a coupon for $25. off minimum 3-day rental reserve convertible, minivan or SUV picking up on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. On the back it says original coupon must be presented.

ONE THING TO NOTE, IF THEY ASK YOU TO UPGRADE TO ANOTHER VEHICLE, DECLINE IT. WE DID, AND ENDED UP GETTING A PONTIAC MONTANA FOR THE SAME PRICE BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF THE FORD ESCAPE SUV. THE MINIVAN WAS AWESOME FOR ROOM AND GAS MILEAGE.

This has happened to us twice now and both times we ended up getting an upgrade for no additional cost.

Thanks for posting these. I tried for my dates at the end of May/beginning June and was not able to get the $129/week rate. The coupon would have worked, but not the great weekly rate. Hopefully something like this will come out closer to my time of departure. Thanks!
