If I were to find a rate I like and book one, can I still use codes on them to get a discount even further??

Right now I have Dollar at 379.00 for our entire 10 day stay..

What size car is that for? I have Dollar for our 10 day stay for 241.00 for a full size car. What are you dates and pickup and drop off times?

I have a mini-van from Dollar for $289 for nine days. I think that is a pretty good price. I have heard that Almao sometimes puts out great rates a week or so ahead of your travel time. I just keep checkin their site every few days. I probably won't find a better price.

today I got $273 for 10 days for a mid-size from Alamo. I've been checking for weeks and this was a price drop. I took it but will check to see if it goes down more.

I kept looking too, but my original reservation is still cheaper. I booked very early and got a great deal. Has only one found anything really cheap for a
SUV?

Booked in March at Alamo, using Costco code and coupon:

16 days (Aug 11-27) mid size SUV $261 (including all taxes/fees)

16 days (Aug 11-27) full size SUV $368 (including all taxes/fees)

9 days (Aug 18-27) mid size SUV $137 (including all taxes/fees)

I thought these were excellent rates, and haven't been able to beat them since

I booked in Feb for 8 days in Oct. Got a minivan (Uplander) for $230.

They seem to be more than double that now

OK here are the specs. I am also a Costco and Sams member so let me know what you find worked best.


My dates are Aug. 24 pick up at 11am

Return Sept 2nd at 4pm.

I thought my rate of 205.00 was good for 10 days, your is the best I think I have seen. I used to bj's rates.

I called to have my quick silver number put on yesterday and my rate went up 150.00. I then took my quick silver number out of my reservation. Today I am going to call customer services and ask why???
