Alamo Insiders-do they send emails?

I joined Alamo insiders about a week ago to get better rates for our Sept trip. I got a membership number, but no confimation email, and no coupons. I see people posting about double upgrade coupons and discounts, but I'm getting nothing. Is this normal?

They do send emails, about once every two to three weeks. You can also Google 'Alamo promotions'. Sites like retailmenot often provide codes you can try.

On the Alamo website click on the blue Alamo Insiders tab and you will see both an upgrade option and a weekly special. Hope this helps

Make sure you never enter your flight information. Once their system knows you're definitely coming, it shows higher rates. Clever devils.
