Alamo- for Sept Rental WOW!

I am a firm believer in checking and rechecking and rechecking rates on previously secured reservations as the dates get closer. I can't stress this enough.

For ex, I will be at WDW from Sept 20 - 25th. I always like to have a car and I rent usually from Alamo and an economy sized car. I started searching 3 months ago and began at $158 all taxes etc. As of this MORNING, I am down to $68.86 including ALL TAXES and FEES!!! I did not think that this was possible whatsoever! I used the AP holders rate (as I do have an annual pass) and a $40 coupon off from the alamo web site.

I encourage you to check yours! I am still in shock.. $68.86 is about $11. 47 a day.

We also got a great rate. We booked a midsize car picking up on the 3rd and returning on the 11th for $71.94.

wow, those are more like prime time daily rates. There has been some really good rates this year w/Alamo for May & Sept rentals (no July or -thus far- October luv)

I booked at $102 standard size for 9/17-9/24 (actually 8 days total). Isn't it funny that you got a cheaper rate but are renting for a longer period? I will never be able to figure out these car rental companies.

Anyhow, the rates are fantastic! I recently paid over $300 for 5 days in Denver so I am loving these rates!

The good codes go thru 9/26 and we check in 9/28, I'll keep checking.
