Alamo Equinox DVD ?

I'm thinking of renting an Equinox from Alamo. We usually get a minivan-we love the DVD player! Has anyone rented the Equinox-is it roomy (4 adults and 1 small DD6), did you like it, and do they have a DVD player? The difference is about $45. Thanks

8 days and counting to spur of the moment trip with Mom, Sister (her 1st trip) niece (her 3rd) and Daughter 6 (her 6th)

We rented an Equinox from Alamo and it did not have a DVD (we even got a 'prefered' model because they were out of the standards). I really like the Equinox, though. It was fine for the three of us, but I think it would be snug for your group--much like a full size car would be. I thought it drove nicely.

We own an Equinox and it's very roomy in the back for a small SUV. There is more leg room in the equinox vs my minivan. Our DVD player was installed by the dealer.....not sure if they come with one normally.

We just returned yesterday from WDW and rented an equinox from National. You can accomidate your party, but the luggage room isn't huge. We had 3 average size suitcases, one carry bag and a duffle bag plus a collapsable stroller, just able to shut the back door down! No DVD,did have a CD player, loved the car.

Thanks everyone. We are actually renting a minivan and an Equinox. (And our group just expanded to 5 adults and 1 child) We figured we need the space for luggage plus for any side trip part of our group might take-imagine, not everyone in our group wants to spend everyday at WDW

We returned today from WDW and had reserved an Equinox from Alamo, but when we arrived on Monday evening, there were none available. We chose a Trailblazer instead. I just wanted to mention this because you don't always get the vehicle you request at the time you make the reservation.
