We just returned yesterday (12/14) and rented from Alamo. Everything went very smooth.
There was a bit of a line, making for a 20 min. delay, but from what I was told, the printers were acting up. Once on track, the line moved swiftly.
They did ask if I wanted the additional insurance coverage. Although I declined, I did have to repeat myself to decline. (Just for good measure, I had my ins. co. send me a letter that I brought on the trip that states my coverage covers rentals, etc.)
So, overall, our experience was very good
