Alamo - Do you Need An AmEx to Use Code?

Anyone know if you must have/bring your American Express Card (and use for payment) in order to use the corporate code?

Know that i have been asked @ kiosk to present AAA card in the past.

I know when I used a VISA code I had to show my visa card (and I had to ue it for payment too), so my guess is that if you use an Amex code they'll make you show and/or use your Amex card.

I have booked Alamo with AmEx Discount and I believe it states you must "pay" with your AmEx to get the discount.

thanks for the info, it's what I expected (guess it's only fair since it is a card holder perc).

Might have to get one of their cards anyway, wonder if it applies to the "blue" ones - that doen't have to be paid off in full each month?

Mine is the "one" card...does not have to be paid off each month.
If you do decide to go the AmEx Discount, you can put in this discount additional coupon code for an extra $25 off. It worked for me.

I'll bring my Am. Ex. card with me, but I cannot find anyplace where it states that you must pay with that card.
Anyone know where it states this?
