Alamo Direct Road vs Dollar Express

usrentacar.co.uk are advertising Alamo Direct Road which seems to be a fast track service similar to Dollar Express. Both appear to be free. Has anyone had experience of Direct Road and how do Alamo compare to Dollar as a rental company?

We will be collecting and returning to Orlando International and I believe both are on site and there isn't much difference in price, Alamo is a little cheaper.

Yes, we've used both and the principle is identical. Historically we always used Dollar, but since Alamo have been onsite, we've used them more. Alamo's main advantage over Dollar is that you get to pick your own car from those available.

I spoke to to the nice lady (she was ace!) at Dollar Sanford and they said they were changing to the same Alamo style pick a car system soon. The date i dont know and if it is across the board. It may be from January 1st-not sure.
