Alamo coupon

Yes, we had a full-size so we just go to the fs aisle and pick one out. The keys are in the ignition. If you need help there's a mini-office near the cars which you'll pass as you get to the cars. It's great to be able to choose the color, leather vs. fabric, moonroof, etc. It was all very easy.
If they're all out of your reserved vehicle just go to the office/booth in the garage though this has never happened to us. I suppose it happens during peak holiday times.
Awesome! Thanks!! :thumbsup2 I am so stoked that we can bypass the counter and not deal with the pushy sales people!!!

Just so people know, we have used the kiosk check out twice now at MCO with a debit card not a credit card and it worked fine for us. I think it prompted us to enter it a differnt way. So much easier than dealing with some hard sale customer person...:thumbsup2

Thanks! So then you go out to the lot and just choose your class of car? Say if I am renting a standary SUV and I don't see any? Then what?

You can take something from the National side. They are the same company. To the OP, we have never been asked to show an e coupon.

thanks for posting, saved another $5 on my December resie...$93.05 for 8 days, compact.

We're not flying into MCO this time. We are flying Allegiant Air into SFB. Does anyone know if they have a kiosk there at that location?

You do not have to prepay to use the internet coupon.

We had to go to the desk since we use a debit/credit card instead of a plain credit card.

Okay, sounds great. Just want to check to make sure I have all this right. I have made my reservation for a compact car online with Alamo already. I have filled in the "save time" form online, too. When we arrive, if I pay using a standard credit card (Amex which is saving me another 15%) then I can just proceed to the self check-in kiosk and follow its directions without having to talk to a sales rep at the Alamo counter? Then I take my paperwork out to the lot, go to the compact section, pick the car I want, drive it to the guy in the little check out booth, and away I go? Easy as that? :goofy: :figment: :dumbo: :stitch: :simba: :maleficen I'm rarin' to go!! :yay: :woohoo:

I have used both National and Alamo many times, and I know they are now owned by the same company. However, I did not know you can choose from the Emerald Aisle with an Alamo reservation. Has anyone done that successfully? Thanks.

WDWFan - we were directed to Nat'l's aisle last Nov since there were no Alamo Intermediates in the garage. Easy to do and we were out of the garage.
Since we usually arrive late night, there are often none in the Alamo aisle.

I just made a reservation online with Alamo. I couldn't find a spot to enter an e-coupon code. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

ok, maybe you all can help me. Where do I find this "ecoupon". I want a compact from alamo for july 08. The current price i am getting is 140 to 180 depending on where I pick the car up and return. I would be a first time renter so any advice is greatly appreciated.

don't believe you have to "find it"; i thought an ecoupon was merely a code:confused3 as in you didn't need to present a hard copy of it?

For the person that asked about if there is no car, I was flying into LA very late at night and when we got to Alamo we went into the garage to pick our car and there was nothing left. A gentleman who worked there got a car from the back and I loved it. So I am sure if there is nothing they will get you a car.

Just wondering if anyone has successfully used this ecoupon without having to show a paper coupon?

I'm booking 3 vehicles for a group of us and I'm afraid when we'll get there we'll need to show a coupon. Others have called Alamo and were told no paper necessary when it's an ecoupon but I can't help but worry. :worried:

I'll have a lot of people mad at me if it doesn't work but it's such a great coupon, I can't resist. :cool2:
Has anyone used this lately?
tia!!!:goodvibes
btw, Alamo's website allows the use of this coupon code even though it wouldn't accept our BJ's or Costco coupon. :woohoo:

Do you know when this expires?

The Alamo e coupons are on the home page, just click on the one that will work for you and it is entered automatically, or you can put the code in the coupon box yourself. You can use more than one discount also. From the home page click on more options and you will see the boxes. You can enter a code on the I.D./Corp I.D. box, such as Wallmart, Amex, Visa, etc., and also one in the coupon box, e coupon, entertainment book etc. Just keep trying different codes until you get the best rate. You can save a lot with the right combination of codes.

Can anyone tell me what class of car the alamo ecoupon uses (AD3829MRB). I am going this weekend, and have tried the usual codes and coupons I use, and none of them are accepting the coupon. I tried using it for November, and still could not use any of the codes and coupons, including this one. Is there another code you need to use with that particular coupon? Right now I have a full-size SUV for $175 for five days. I went around Labor Day, and got the same vehicle for $98 for the same number of days. Is there a blackout during October and November? It is the most I have ever paid with Alamo. Thanks.:confused3

I believe it is good on all classes, and you do not need to use any other code with it. I just booked a car for December using the e coupon and the Amex code and it took both of them. It also worked with the Wallmart code, but the Amex was better so I used that. I saved $45.:yay:

Most coupons are capacity controlled and subject to blackout dates.

Not sure if you are an Entertainment member, have you tried their ID/codes?

I tried using the Amex code and the code you mentioned today and the Alamo site permitted both codes for every car except the economy. I check every few days and sometimes the price drops a couple dollars. I am picking it up on Nov. 26 and returning on Dec. 6 for $123.04 including taxes etc. I requested a compact. I would try again several times between now and the weekend. Good luck! Hope it works for you.
