Alamo Costco discount

I have a Costco August Alamo discount question. I booked a standard at 383 for 13 days before my Costco membership expired in March. The rates are over 600 now. Do I need to rejoin Costco to use the old reservation?

I have a Costco August Alamo discount question. I booked a standard at 383 for 13 days before my Costco membership expired in March. The rates are over 600 now. Do I need to rejoin Costco to use the old reservation?

In theory, you should renew your membership to be "legal"
However, if you still have your Costco card, take it with you (in August). A Costco card does not actually have an expiry date on it, just an issue date. It is highly doubtful that you will be asked to show the card, but if you still have it, Alamo really doesn't have a way of checking to see if your membership has expired (and as I said earlier, the card only has an issued month and year...no expiry date)
