Alamo Car Rental vs Thrifty

Hi there I have been sitting on a Thrifty Mini Van rental for our trip and Alamo just came in 120.00 cheaper. Can you tell me if these rental companies are good to rent from? My price is now $630.00 taxes in for 2 weeks.

We've use both of them and prior to 2009 always got great prices. We rented 2 vans for two weeks for that price in 2007.
This Nov. our price went to 800 for one van.
We've always used Alamo or National but had to go with Thrifty because of the price. No problems but I'd rather use Alamo for the fact that you can pick out your own van from those available in the parking garage. With Thrifty you're assigned a specific van.
I'd take the cheaper of the two.

I would also go with Alamo because you can pick your own van. Plus they are nice at Alamo.
