Alamo car online check in

Hi. If I do the Alamo car hire online check in (booked via Virgin as part of fly drive) where do we go on arrival at the airport to avoid the normal queue? Thanks don't care what we get so long as its the 7 seater we paid for so we can fold the back ones down and guarantee fitting our luggage in!

We went straight through to the office in the car garage, they checked the paperwork you print off, then you pick your car and then get checked out of the garage as you drive off.

Can I ask a related question please? How long before you go can you do the online check in, I have the details from Virgin but we do not go until 11th but would love to do it this weekend if we can whilst my husband is at home as he is the main driver (the holiday is booked in my name). Thanks x

I think you can check in online 2 weeks before your holiday, so this weekend would be fine. You need the Alamo check in number to be able to do it.

I remember getting that number from Virgin last year when we booked through them so that we could do this. It is so easy and quick it is great! You also beat everyone else getting a car so you get to have more choice before the rest of your flight get to the car park
