Alamo AND National Sold Out for Pres Week!

Just out of curiosity, I was checking the rates for our trip next week and found that both Alamo and National are showing no availibility at all for presidents week. I checked for starting dates from 2/16 up through 2/20 and there was nothing in any car class.

So glad I made my ressies way back when...

Something kind of wierd is going on here. I tried the same dates you listed and I am still getting an error saying that the rate is currently sold out. I'll have to try it from home tonight...

i just checked both sites too and they are saying sold out

I rented 2 days ago from alamo using there web site, I did notice that several of their offers expire today, maybe they are updating

Just checked again right now and both are definately showing as No Availability.

I've got a BAD feeling about this...

Glad we got our reservations a while back - even managed to save $200. over the past month, but looks like we'll have lots of company at WDW. Will be glad to retire from teaching in a few years and not be locked into President's Week vacation then.

It's not uncommon. They probably are not 100% sold out... they hold some cars for folks who walk up and are willing to PAY PAY PAY!!!

I was traveling to MCO on business one time during this week and while I was able to get a car we had to get the company's Avis rep to FORCE the location to honor the contract. (This was the same trip where L&M told me that they "adjusted" the car sizes when they were busy so yes, a Corolla is a full size this week LOL! I had to call the TA to get the Avis car since there were four of us with luggage and computers!)
