Alamo and additional driver (spouse)

I generally rent from National or Enterprise, and they both allow my wife as an additional driver without charge. Does Alamo do this as well? I looked on their web site and couldn't find anything. TIA.

They will if you sign up for their (free) Alamo Insiders program and book your car under that code. Sometimes the online reservation will still try to add a $9.99/day charge when you add your spouse. This happened to me so we had to ask an Alamo agent at MCO to add me as an additional driver.

Otherwise it depends on the code you use. For example, if you are an AARP member and use their code your spouse can be added for free. There are other codes that offer a free additional driver. If you do a search you will probably find some other threads with more information on this topic.
