I was hoping somebody could help me. I have the 1992 Aladdin animated movie (Feat. Robin Williams voice as Genie) but it's not in color. It's the cartoon, but it's completely in Black and White. I worked in a video store when it was released and I remember disney made a mistake by not adding/using color on some in the first batch, and they recalled them. There was a small quantity, but I don't remember the number. A brand new one was discovered in our store, and I bought it. I can't find ANYTHING on the internet about this. How do I research this? Does anybody have any help or suggestions...I would appreciate any help!!!

I tried doing some searching and I couldn't find anything else. Sounds like you have quite the gem on your hands.

Thank you! I've kept it for all of these years, because I just think it's neat. But after all of this time, I am kind of curious about it too. I know that VHS is pretty much gone the way of the 8 track players, but it's from an era when Disney was making some of their best animated movies (in my opinion), and this one does happen to be one of my favorites. Thanks for trying to help. I've spent hours searching too, and It's like it never happened and this tape doesn't exist, which I know isn't true. Thanks again!

You probably got a PAL format tape mislabeled with an NTSC cover. It's just a production line error at the duplication plant. Something like that really has no value.
