We are hoping to see Aladdin (the show) next Sunday. Which is our Magic Morning day.

Our plans for the day :

Carnation Cafe (reservations at 12:30p)

From there we plan on going to DCA

How early do we need to get to the area to see Aladdin? There is a showing at 1:50 and 4:15.

It does not take us long to eat - we are not dawdlers. However, if we need to be in DCA and at the building to see Aladdin an hour or later in advance, we will probably take our time a bit at lunch.

Plus depending on when we see Aladdin will determine if we are going to see the Pixar Parade too.

So, how early do we need to get our hineys to the Aladdin show prior to the start of the show?? Thanks!! (I am trying to figure out our Sunday a bit more)

Even with a 12:30 PS at the Carnation Cafe, that does not mean you will be seated at that time. We had a breakfast PS last week & waited over 15mins to be seated....so you need to figure that in. A PS guarantees you a table near your time, that opens up & accomidates your group size.

I think you'd be pushing it to get to the 1:15pm show. I'd plan for the 4:15pm & depending on crowd sizes in the parks....I'd get in line about 30-60 mins. prior. This has always been a popular show & we've always stood in line for long periods of time (and we weren't anywhere near the front of the line).

I think if you hustle after the 4:15pm show, you should be able to make it over to the parade route in time.

Good luck & have a wonderful trip!!

Thank you!

I think deep down that the 1:50 show would be pushing it.

I hope we make it to the parade in time. That will be one "must do" thing crossed off our list.

You would be pushing it. You could arrive at Carnation 20 minutes early and hope they let you in early but that is rush hour for dining in DLR. The best thing is to have a plan A and a plan B.

Plan A
If you get in early at Carnation and if you get fast service and if you pay with exact cash down to the penny and if you do not meet the group walking 8 abroad at a snail pace and if you do not get in the exit line that has the slow people and if you do not run into a tour group and if you get in the entrance without ending up behind idiots who cannot find their tickets and you get the rest of the picture. You do the 1:50 show

Plan B is to go to DCA and get a fast pass for Soarin then go do Tower of Terror, Crush, Animation, Monsters, and Muppets or jog over to some other part of DCA and return at the time that a CM will recommend. They can tell you when doors open. You will see the parade but will not have the front row probably. You can try making it to the wharf if you do not like the area you are standing in.
