We're heading back to DLR in a few months for our 2nd trip ever. It's been a few years since our last trip, and I'm afraid I've forgotten some of the logistics.

I know we did Ariel's Grotto as a package for World of Color. I could swear we also had tickets to get into a specific showing of Aladdin. I can't find any reference to a package, though. Maybe it was a fastpass? Any idea what I might be remembering?

Thanks!

I know when we had our Honeymoon in 2010 we had a package through AAA for tickets that granted us preferred seating for Aladdin. That might be what you were thinking of. However Disney and AAA have discontinued their relationship to my knowledge at least on packages so I don't believe that would be a perk now.

When you booked a package with certain vendors, it included a "Preferred Seating" voucher for Aladdin and a few other shows.

I was told the only way now to get in before the general public is to be a VIP or friend of one of the CM's.

Ok, that makes sense. Last time, we booked at one of the Good Neighbor hotels as a Disneyland package. This time, we're using our DVC points. LOL, I thought I was going crazy.

Here's a tip for some great seats but you will have to be there early and wait in the corrals.
Choose the orchestra section. When they let you in you will be directed to the left and up a few stairs (unless one of your party has in a mobility device). Go up the stairs and then once inside turn right and go down the stairs (staying on the left hand side of the divided stairway) Everyone else is hurrying to the front section of seats. Instead, head for the first row of the second section. You will have a great view, no one in front of you, and the "parade" with Aladdin and the elephant will pass right in front of you.
