How far in advance should I arrive to the theater to see the Aladdin Show at 5:50 pm on Sunday November 1st?

Oh also if we see the 9:00 pm Fantasmic show how early do we need to get places? I think the fireworks start at 9:25 will Fantasmic be finished by then and can you see the Fireworks well from that area?

Thanks in advance!
Ashley

We were at Dl for fantasmic on Spet 17-23rd. We were not able to see the show until Sunday night (9:00 show) because of the crowds. However, when we got our spot, it was 5:30 and people were already staking their area...we just laid our blankets, claimed our place and had everyone hang out for hours!

You can see the fireworks from Fantasmic, the sound is there also but with the new halloween show, not sure what you will be able to see. The lights are all out and everyone around us just stayed to see the fireworks. Let me tell you that there are ALOT of people who stay for the 2nd Fantasmic and when you get up to leave your spot, people are imediatley there to claim your space. :scared1:

It is a wonderful show, we love it and do it every trip...Normally we take Disney UNO or something for the kids to do to pass the time...

Hi, for the Aladdin show on any day - any showing, if you want to get decent seats and on the ground level which is the one you should aim for, plan on arriving at least 45 minutes before show time.

Yes, you can see the fireworks from the Fantasmic area (more so where the Haunted Mansion is located), but if you haven't seen the fireworks show from the castle then that would be best. It's an entirely different show and experience seeing it with all the special effects and audio than it is seeing it from the Fantasmic area - the castle is the main character.

For Fantasmic, yes the best areas are taken early. If you are willing, show up about an hour before, if not at least 45 minutes - same suggestion with the fireworks show, however 45 minutes is probably late for the fireworks unless you are a small party, like 2-3 people then you all could squeeze your way into the sea of people to find a spot in the center. Once people stand up lots of free spaces open up.

This photo was taken at ROA at 6:03pm on Sept 1 while waiting for the first showing of F!

And this one was at 6:17pm:

As you can see the entire front is already full of people as far as the eye can see. :scared1: People start staking out their places before 6pm!
We had great views of the fireworks, however the best view is in front of the castle with all the effects.
Here's a photos of the fireworks from the ROA:

Thank you so much for the pictures! Definately going to go to the second show of fantasmic so we can catch the fireworks on Main Street since we won't be entering DL until 7:00.

Thank you everyone for all of your help!

FYI, I disagree with Grim Grinning Girl about wanting to sit on the lower level. Our family LOVES to sit on the Mezzanine level, if you get in line early enough for that area you can get right down in the front and have an amazing view of the stage and the "extras" that they have. I won't say more than that in case you don't know what to expect but the Mez level is by far our favorite!! We will line up about 30 min. early for Aladdin seats and we usually really like where we are.

What about if you have the Preferred seating for Aladdin? How early do you need to line up?

Thanks,

Beth

When we had preferred seating we showed up about 15 min. early......those seats are front and center on the bottom level.

Forgive my ignorance, but...
...how does one even go about getting preferred seating for Aladdin?

Preferred seating for shows in DCA come when you book a package thru the WDTC or AAA, I'm sure others offer these perks as well.

Please don't squeeze yourself in at the last minute after everyone else has been waiting for a couple hours. I've noticed that it just creates more conflict. I get upset if I've staked out a spot and then someone comes and plants themself in front of me and then proceeds to do things like put their kid on their shoulders and block my view, or stands right in front of my camera which was set up for hours before they got there. It's rude. Take the time to stake out a spot early enough so others around you don't get upset that you're infringing on their space. I seriously had people putting their filthy shoes on my blanket when DH and I were waiting for F!. I had to turn around and give the "the look" before they would move their feet! Then a few minutes later, it was back again --and these were adults! Their shoes were right up against my back a couple of times! It's just plain rude. OP, this is not in response to you. It's in response to the person who said to squeeze in at the last minute....
