I haven't been to DLand in a few years and the last time we had to get the tickets for the Alladin show ahead of time for the performance we wanted and then get in line when it got closer to the show time.

Is this still how it works for this show or is it handled differently now?
During the time we will be there it is only being shown on one day so we want to make sure we see it.

I remember when they handed out tickets prior to the show too. It allowed people to see the show without having to stand and wait in a long line. Unfortunately they no longer use the tickets. Everyone must get their early and stand and wait. The earlier you get in line the better your seat. Late arrivals are seated high in the upper balcony but at least you most likely will get a seat even just a few minutes before show time. 30 minutes prior will get you a lower level seat.
