Aladdin Refurb Info.

Here's the latest info on the Aladdin refurb from Darkbeer's article over on MA:

. . .the major one is that the closure of Aladdin and the Hyperion Theater has been pushed back until after Sunday, September 28th. Last week, Disney did hold casting auditions to replace some of the actors in "Aladdin", so it is clear it is coming back. While nothing official has been announced, it is expected that Aladdin will return in mid-December, 2008 for the busy Christmas Season.

Bummer...we are going Dec 6-14 and my kids were really looking forward to seeing Alladin..hopefully it will open the last Sat we are there. A girl can always hope anyway!

really not happy to hear that. POTC will be closed as well when I am there. I was really looking forward to seeing both and now........ I am having a hard time getting excited about our trip.

Yay , I'm so happy they pushed back the Aladdin Refurb because when I was there in June 2008 it was on my list of things that I reallllllly wanted to do but never got a chance because I was too exhausted and wore out. Now I definitely have to see it when I go in Sept because I might not be back to DL for a long while after that trip

I'm hoping that it will be back up earlier than expected. I, too, missed the show last time I went to DCA. I'm going back the 1st week of Dec. So, here's to hoping it will be back while I'm there.
