AKV Waitlist question

Hi everyone - looking for some guidance / experience here.

We are booked into our home resort (SSR) for 2 weeks, w/c 27-11 in a 2BR, but want to switch to AKV at the 7mth window

So the questions are I guess :-

1) Chances of getting a switch ?
2) Jambo or Kidani ?

Will be a party of 4 adults and one child (DS - 3).

Any help appreciated !!

Not sure what the odds would be but you would need to specify which building and which view category for your waitlist. You can have two active waitlist. For example you cannot just say any 2 bedroom standard or savanah view as that would be 4 waitlists(one for each building and view)

That starts Thanksgiving weekend here so a very busy time.

Well I just booked Kidani (a studio though) at 5 months out on rented points.

-2 bedrooms do book fast, but I think you stand a much better chance at Kidani, since it is a strictly DVC resort, there are more villas available - Jambo house only has one floor dedicated to DVC.

Thanks ! We are due to fly in from the UK on the Sunday (but could delay to the Monday) - was thinking that most folks would be checking out on the Sunday after the Thanksgiving weekend....

I think you chance would be good as Kidani is so big and they have just incresed the amount of villas in the DVC inventory.

All the two bedroom villas at Jambo House are lock offs if that is a consideration.
