AKV Value

I need 3 nights

12/3 -12/6

I booked value AK for 12/3 and 12/5 12/4 is missing.

I cannot hold both ressies to see if 12/4 comes through. I will be booked spring break with points in a week.

Do I take SSR for 3 nights, or leave the 2 I have and keep checking for 12/4? (as well as waitlist)
or do I cancel the 3rd and 5th and skip the checking daily and just leave the SSR I have.

** i cannot/won't bounce every night between 3 rooms. that would be nuts.

I would be willing to pay for points on a non-value room and hope they just dont move me though. ... any thoughts on this? if WL doesn't through ?

If you book a different category for the middle night, you will have to move.

I would go with SSR and cancel the nights you have at AKV. AKV Value rooms are difficult to come by so the odds of your waitlist coming through are lower than if it was a non-Value room.

We love SSR and would have no problem staying there (it's DS20's favorite resort). I would rather have the reservation all set than have that middle night missing with a waitlist that has a good chance of never coming through.

It was only to save points, but we also LOVVVVE SSR! and would be thrilled to be " Stuck" there !!!

I didn't mean to imply that you thought SSR was somehow lesser. I was just saying that we enjoy it there so I'd book that and have the full stay rather than keep the waitlist.

If you like SSR then that makes the decision even easier, IMO.

I am holding it until next week and checking every minute until I book spring break next yr, and look forward to the Artists Pallet if not, and an extra night in spring break if not !
