What is the difference between the value and standard room? For a trip next year, we will only have enough points for a 1BR value room. Or we could stay in a Studio SV. Which would you choose?

Small number of values so should reserve 11 months in advance; all are near front of Jambo building. 40% face a savannna, 40% the pool and 20% the parking lot; you can request a view but it is not guaranteed. Main difference between value and other rooms is size, 1BR value is about 100 sq ft smaller than other 1BRs in Jambo and 200 sq ft smaller than the 1BRs at Kidani. Value 1BR may be fine for you because it is boigger than a standard studio. All standard rooms at Jambo face the pool, at Kidani the pool or road leading up to Kidani.

What do you think my chances of getting a 1BR value at Jambo or a Studio Savanna view at 7 months for May 2010?

Getting a value at 7 months is iffy, some have reported success, many have reported otherwise; getting a savanna view in May at 7 months should be high probability of sucess (80% of all rooms are savanna view) except time right around Memorial Day might be a little questionable.

I was able to book a Jambo value studio for 2 nights in September. I just booked this a week ago, but September is not that busy so it will depend on when you are booking for and for how many nights. There were also lots of 1 bedrooms available for my time frame too.
