We are planning to stay at AKVs for two nights after a disney cruise next May. We are thinking about getting two studios for the 6 of us and to save some points have talked about the value studio option.
Does anyone know where some pictures are located of the interior of a value studio?
Also, is the less sq. footage noticable vs a standard studio?
My last thought, is anything missing in the room that we would normally see in a standard or savannah studio?

Thanks!

We had a value studio in July (pre-cruise) for 3 nights. I can tell you that they are larger than the cabins on the ship! LOL...actually, I believe the Value Studios are 316 SF and the Std & Savannah view studios are 366 SF. It was fine - we were hardly in the room as it was such a quick trip. Here are some pics I took of our room, which faced the pool, but had no view:

Oh, and here's a cabin on the Wonder for comparison:

We got a couple of the value studios after our cruise last Feb and I agree that they seemed quite large after the cruise cabins! I think you'll be quite happy. :goodvibes

they don't have the bench at the standard view and sv do.

the furniture is a tigher space.

but other than that - loved them!

now can't see 4 in these rooms - well not 4 adults. but 3 is definitely doable.

really love 'em

hope you get the swimming pool view - there is a short cut to the buses - just go down the steps next to the elevator (near your room - not the main elevators) - the exit is between floors - 3 and 2nd floors I think.

I hope you don't need the two studios close to each other because that would just be a request and not guaranteed.

no worries on that front, would be delighted for the DMIL and Kids to be a bit away! :)

one of the first trip we made - the CM at the front desk wanted to put my DB near us - I almost agreed and mother came over and say 'NO'....

so she will be probably be just as happy as you.

well bummer, I called today and all value rooms are gone! OKW here we come

might still go with standard view - they are only 1 points more than value.

my opinion - it is better and easier to get to other family members if they are just down the hall - than in a separate building.

besides the weather in winter in iffy - so inside is a little better.

We stayed in a value in Sept and I didn't really notice it was smaller until we moved to VWL later in the week. We had 3 adults and DS in the PnP. I thought it was a great room and can't beat the points.

The pull out couch in the value was incredibly comfortable. I slept on it without actually pulling out the bed because when the back cushions were removed the couch was so wide. It was great. Plus you can't beat the location of the value rooms.

We will be in a value studio in 40 days.:yay: Where did you place the pack n play in the room?

Just wanted to post an update... We snagged the last value studio for the two nights and went with a standard studio for the other room so we are all set for some WDW time after our big cruise!

depends - going to use the sofa bed for a bed - then in the slight hall before the restroom. if not that area is a good choice (the area where the bed would be)

the reason I don't recommend the first place is - it is next to the door. some parents would want their kids closer to them - especially in a strange place.

My sister (the BeaverTails Queen) was on the couch and we put the PNP right beside her since she hadn't pulled it out.

A couple of nights it was also by the door.
