AKV Value Rooms - Do I have this right?

Looking to add-on 100 points resale and leaning towards AKV to be able to book the 2BR value. This is how I understand the value rooms at AKV - please confirm or correct:

All value rooms are on the fifth floor of Jambo House on Ostrich and Giraffe Trail only. All DVC rooms on Ostrich and Giraffe trail are value rooms. Value rooms are not found anywhere else in Jambo House or at Kidani at all. There are only 10 value 2BR and they are all lock-offs - 2 have parking lot view, 4 have pool view and 4 have savannah view and the view cannot be requested. None of the value rooms have a sleeper chair. The second bedroom has one queen bed and one full-sized sleeper sofa. Is this correct?

I think everything looks correct. We just stayed in a 2 BR Value in October and fell in LOVE! We did not notice a difference in the size, plus the point value was amazing! I think your plan is a good one. Just keep in mind you will have to book exactly 11 months out.

You are correct but left out the main distinguishing factor of the values, which is that they are smaller than other rooms, e.g., the 2BR is 945 sq ft compared to 1070 for other Jambo 2BRs and 1173 for Kidani 2BRs. People react differently to room size differences. I have been in all three and the Kidani 2BR makes the value feel like a closet.

Do the value 2 bedrooms have 3 bathrooms or just 2?

I know the Kidani 2 bedrooms have 3 bathrooms. Don't remember how many there are in the Jambo building. Maybe all of those have only 2 bathrooms?

Only Kidani 1BRs and 2BRs have the extra bathroom . No rooms at Jambo, including value, have it.

How did I miss the size factor in the OP's post? That's what make the value a value. The rooms are about 3 feet shorter. I will say the only place I really noticed the difference was in the master bedroom. The bed is VERY close to the sliding glass door. I have stayed in a Kidani 2 BR Savanna View and a Jambo 2 BR Value (got the pool view). While I loved the Kidani 2 BR room, I'm not willing to use the extra points for it now unless it's a special occasion. On our fall trips, I'm looking at 11 extra points a night. Yikes! Now if money was no object, sure. I have to say the only thing I disliked about the 2 BR Value was that the master bath was not connected to the master bedroom. You had to walk across an open hallway to get to it. Not a lot of privacy. But I think that's the case in all 2 BRs at Jambo. The things I love outweigh that one dislike--for approximately the same amout of points as a 1 BR Standard or Savanna (depending on the season), I can get a whole other room, my kids can have separate beds that are not in the living room, we are guaranteed close proximity to the lobby, and there's a chance of getting a pool view or savanna view. For me, that's worth it.

ETA: We own 100 points and go every other year. It's perfect.

Value rooms are only at Jambo and were created when they converted the AKL rooms to DVC and the rooms ended up being smaller or odd shaped.

As Bill said, there are no value villas at Kidani Village. They may have changed you to a standard. What did you reserve? You either reserve JH or KV when you make your reservation. If you reserved KV, you reserved a standard, not a value.
