AKV "value Accommodation" question

Does anyone know the difference between a "value accommodation" and "standard view" at AKV? There is a point difference but I can't find what the room difference is. Thank for the help.

Smaller room size. And the values do not have the third bathroom that are in the regular AKV villas. Value 1 BRs only sleep four (not five like the standard view and SV villas) and two BR values sleep 8 where as the other AKV 2 BRs sleep nine.


The square footage for each resort's two bedroom villa:

AKV Kidani - 1173
Jambo - 1075 (945 Value 2 BR)

One BR:

AKV Kidani - 807
Jambo - 710 (629 for a Value 1 BR)

Studio:

AKV Kidani - 366
Jambo - 365 (316 for Value Studio)

You are correct . In addition:
* Value villas are only at Jambo House.
* Value villas also only sleep 4 people, even in a 1 bedroom.
* Value villas can be *any* view, pool, savannah or parking lot.
* A standard view villa at Jambo house is guaranteed to be a pool view.
* A standard view villa at Kidani can be a pool or parking lot view.
* A standard view 1 BR villa can sleep up to 5 people.

Only Kidani 1BR's and 2Br's have an extra bathroom. At Jambo 1BR's have 1 bathroom with a combo tub/shower and 2BR's have 2 bathrooms with combo tub/showers.

All of the DVC units in Jambo House are converted hotel rooms.

To add to what erionm posted, Animal Kingdom Lodge (the hotel) had two different room sizes. All rooms on floors 4 and lower and some rooms on the 5th floor (on the Ostrich and Giraffe trails) were "standard" size rooms. The rest of the rooms on the 5th floor and all of the rooms on the 6th floor were larger "deluxe" size rooms. All of the deluxe rooms on floors 5 and 6 and some of the standard size rooms on the 5th floor were converted to DVC villas. The smaller "standard" size rooms became the Value villas.
