AKV SV view recommendations

I am going to try to book AKV either a 1 bdrm or 2 bdrm (if friends decide to come) at 7 month for of course mid Dec. We already have BLT booked home resort but would love to do a split stay 3 nights at each resort. This trip will be just my DH and I mid 40's and like to sit and relax on the balcony, our friends may join us. We will have a car. We want to be able to watch the animals from our balcony. Can someone let me know what they prefer for location or what to request if we can even get AKV. We will go eventually even if we cannot get it in Dec.

I would recommend the Sunset Savannah at Kidani. That has been our favorite location so far.

If Jambo, recommend requesting room along Zebra Trail (that side of building overlooks Arusha savanna which is in middle of building and faces west so that you see pleasant sunsets but avoid blinding morning sun in the room). If Kidani, would request close to lobby (all of which savanna view rooms have Sunset savanna views). The main reason for that request: the building is so long that if you get a room near the end of the north wing (one furthest from Jambo) at Kidani, you will be more than 1/4 mile from the lobby (a 5 minute and longer walk)
