I'm trying to plan for next year...HELP cannot decide. Right now just me and DH, possible DD and DS might join us. Only have enough pts to stay 3 or 4 nights...but so many options to pick from. We eat out most of the time except for BK so really just interested in the view and or space. Which would you pick out of these 3? :confused3

1. Studio-Savannah
2. Studio-Concierge (if I can get)
3. One Bedroom Value

If I could get it, I'd want the Concierge and do the AM safari, but really it is only worth it if you will take advantage of some Concierge services.
You do need to realize you are not guaranteed an animal view with Concierge or Value. And due to the Kidani construction, you may not see any animals on Savannah view Jan-April, after May you'll need to decide on Jambo or Kidani (Jambo would have more close restaurants, unless you want to be close to the new pool)

If you haven't stayed at AKL yet, I'd go with the savannah view studio. This resort is so pretty, but the animals are what set it apart from every other resort in every other city.

And I'd pick the 1 BR if there might possibly be 4 of you! LOL

If your kids are "older", I'd pick the larger unit....Older kids and a studio(much like a resort room) gets tough!!!

If I had 2 much younger kids, I'd probably save the points for something else!

If staying after May, an advantage to Kidani 1 BR is that there will be 2 baths if that is important to you..May be great with 2 older kids!! Also washer/dryer in 1 BR..less packing!

Happy Planning!:goodvibes :goodvibes

The OP is talking about a Value 1BR (Jambo only) for 3 days. Too short for W/D use and they do not plan on using the kitchen.
If a seperate sleeping room is needed, then it (1BR) would be the only way to go. Although none of those 3 choices has the pull-out chair to be a 3rd bed. That said, what other advantages would the value 1BR have for that plan? King bed, 2 TV's? Anything else?
If the family has no problem being "cozy" in a single hotel room, then I think a savannah view or concierge studio might be a better short vacation experience.
