Sorry for 2 separate topics in 1.
My MIL is letting us & my BIL's family use her points for 7/3-7/10 - and we lucked out as she was just this morning able to book us 2 studios for AKV (I'm assuming Jambo house?) for the entire week (which suprised me since it's over July 4).
She booked 1 standard view & 1 savannah view - so 1 question is - are standard rooms basically on the other side of the hall from the savannah view rooms? We'd like the rooms to be as close as possible to each other (right across the hall would be ideal) but I am unfamiliar with the layout so don't know where the rooms are, etc. Should I request that now? Or right before we check in?
A related question is - for one of the rooms, because of something to do with her points, she had to book the savannah studio for 4 nights and then 3 nights, so there are 2 separate confirmation #'s. She says she has done this before and hasn't had to move rooms - but I'm afraid that might happen. Anyone have experience with this, or advice for preventing this? (Other than really nicely asking upon checkin for them not to make us move?)
And final question - because we have 1 confirmation # for 1 studio, and 2 confirmation #s for the 2nd, could we book the dining plan separately for all? Or for just part? (i.e. if my BIL's family doesn't want it, but we do and are on the reservation with the split confirmation #s, could we get the dining plan just for those 4 nights and not the other 3, based on the different #s?) Does that question even make sense?
Thanks for any help/advice!
