Hey,

It's been a couple of years since we stayed at AKV. Any suggestions on where we should request to be for a Jambo Savannah studio?

Thanks!

When I stayed at Jambo in a savannah view studio, it was way out on the Kidani side of Arusha (I think the room # was 5377). I remember what a long walk it was to get to the elevator to go to Mara to eat. So I'd suggest asking to be close to an elevator to Mara. There was an elevator not too far away, but it only went down as far as the lobby, by the back doors, they told me, so I had to walk a long way to get to Mara.

We stayed close to your room last time. That'sa why I want to know what to ask for.;)

you can stay on any floor of the jambo house to get to mara you go to the left side where you see the animals go past some rooms there some elevators take it down to the pool area short walk to mara. i found 2 magical doors by Disney transportation to the park it looks like employee entrance but they are guest entrances if they are locked use your room key to unlock it there is an elevator that will take you up to the 5 floor the first door has 2 steps going up to it the second door you go down the stairs and through the door to the elevator both doors go to the same elevator so if your staying on the mara side here is the short cut to the buses.

Wow....great info. I've got to get my map out so I can figure this out. I'm one of those that have to see it to learn it.
