Are there any buildings, sections or rooms that have better views than others?

In Jambo House, all of the Standard View rooms face the pool area. Some rooms have pretty good views of the pool area while others have views that are partially blocked by trees and/or the roof of the restaurants. There is a searchable room database here. You can see what guests have reported about the view from their Standard View room.

Kidani Village's Standard View rooms will have views of the pool, garden or parking lot. We don't really know anything more specific than that since Kidani is still under construction.

my standard view was mostly blocked by the roof - studio - it was still pretty wonderful.

it definitely feel more private.

It was quiet.

It was almost next door to the only laundry mat that AKV has.... very convience to the Mario and gift shop and best the wonderful lobby.

although the value view is definitely more convience to the gift shop.

you can see the animals in the big windows along all the hallways in this resort.
