AKV Savannah View vs. Concierge

We've got a 1 bedroom savannah view booked for AKV or 5 nights in January. I was just looking at the DVC site and saw that there are some perks associated with the concierge level verses the savannah view level rooms. Does anyone have any experience with this? What are the extra perks? Is it worth the extra points to upgrade to the concierge level? I assume this type of room would still have a savannah view, but need to be sure, since DD12 is really looking forward to that aspect of the trip. Any help is greatly appreciated. ::MinnieMo

It's probably a moot point - there are only five 2 bedroom lockoff units in the conceirge category. If all 5 were broken up and rented as 1 bedrooms and studios that would be a max of 10 rooms available for any given night. My guess is that the conceirge rooms are all booked at this point (especially if you are looking for 5 nights), but it never hurts to ask.

AFAIK, the perks are the same as for any Disney concierge booking at the AKL - various food items in the restricted access conceirge lounge, help with booking ADrs, and the ability to book the special sunrise & sunset safaris that are available only to conceirge guests (on a first come, first served basis).

We have a 1 br Savanna view booked for early Oct. and debated the same thing. Since with the concierge you have a 50/50 change of getting a non-Savanna view, we opted for the Savanna view for our first visit. Next time we will try the concierge :)

Exactly what we're doing. We'll be there in March with guaranteed 2 bedroom savanna view. Then DH and I are going back alone a month later for a long weekend and for that, I reserved a concierge studio. I still hope for savanna view, but I'll live if I don't get it since I'll have just been there a month before.
