AKV room requests for fall, help please!

Hi, I'm a little new to the disboards so any help would be very helpful. My sister and I are planning a pretty big group of family members for a trip to disney in october for the wine & food festival. We are getting a 2 bedroom at AKV with a savannah view, its our first time going there its our home resort. We are going with our parents and an aunt and they have have a mild cases of arthritis so I want to see if there are any rooms to request that are closer to the bus stop/main areas for transportation and what views are best, i've heard so much about the different areas but I don't know much and they are looking forward to seeing animals (we all are) any help would be great.

we have gone to disney many time but we always have rotten luck getting rooms super far from bust stops and main lobby. not a huge issue w/ us but for our parents it would be a bit of a problem thanks!!

Jambo or Kidani?

Not sure, we're were thinking Jambo but I heard they only have two bedroom lockoffs and we are going to be a full party of 9 so I think we kind of have to be at Kidani for the dedicated two bedroom. any suggestions?

Try to get second floor close to the lobby at Kidani. We were on second floor in room 7636 or 7639, something like that. View of animals was awesome. We traveled 10/28-11/06. It was a studion SV and about half way down the hall of that wing. It was a noticeable but doable distance. I think you may find that they spend more time lingering around the resort while you guys go to the parks, once they are there. It is very relaxing. DH and I actually enjoyed staying at the resort more than before (when we were at Pop)because it was so nice. We didn't hate going back to the room because there was room to relax. I hope that makes sense.

Have you already made a reservation? You specifically reserve Jambo or Kidani. You said it's your home resort so you need to book it ASAP, it's getting close to 7 months for October when anyone can book it.

I would definitely go Kidani because you'll have 3 bathrooms instead of 2 at Jambo. The Kidani rooms are larger.
