DH is so happy to finally do his Sunrise Safari and I'm just excited for more food. OH NO! Just realized that I don't know if I can go on the Sunrise Safari pregnant!! Does anyone know the answer to this?

I see absolutely no reason not to do the Sunrise Safari because you're pregnant - congrats by the way! It's not the usual fast, bumpy ride with the poacher storyline they have for park guests. It goes REALLY slow, the guide tells lots of detailed info about the animals, and stops frequently for pictures. It truly is a not to miss experience. On a side note, I honestly don't think the regular ride would be harmful to pregnant women either - it's not that intense!

Absolutely agree with you about the buses and Sunrise Safari. We stayed in Aug 2006 and the best part of the stay was the Sunrise Safari and the worst was the buses. I am hoping one day we will be able to stay on points as I know my parents would really enjoy it.

Great photos and I agree with your comments -- we thought it was an amazing experience too. Seeing the animals up close and hearing all about them from the people who take care of them was a very special experience.

yes you have to be staying CL to do the sunrise safari...you contact the IP at AKL and they book it for you...I believe the cost is still $55.00 per adult and 27.50 for children ages 3-9

And it often sells out well in advance so it's a good idea to book it as early as you can. It can be booked 180 days out.

we are staying this fall at AK , i wonder if you have any pictures or comments on what else the lounge offers to eat and drink during the day and evening? Do you think it was worth the extra points for the congiere, and do you think it was just too far out , in reguards to travel time to other parks, and downtown disney area etc.?
