It was announced and put in the portable perks books that all 3 restaurants at AK Lodge were giving 10% discount to DVC members. At Boma we tried to use the discount for breakfast on Jan 2 and were told (after checking with the manager) that the discount ended Jan 1.
I checked with the front desk later and in fact no, the discount is through Jan 31, 2008. The CM at the front desk was wonderful and credited our charge, she also told the "leaders" and we were assured all leaders would be given the correct info so this didn't happen to anyone else.
We've had no problem at The Mara (Counter Service) getting the discount (on food not on the purchase of refillable mugs or non food items).
So DVC members going to AKV restaurants can count on the 10% discount through Jan 31. (Bring your card) Enjoy!
