I highly doubt DVC is out of points for AKV. They may be out of certain use years for what has been declared at present, but out of points, no. They would not still be advertising promos if they were truly out of points.

They have recently begun selling points for units in Kidani Village. AKV is no where close to selling out. Jambo House is apparently all sold but that is only one quarter of the total units @ AKV.

The way I know it to be, they are not out of points. The situation is JAMBO HOUSE is full. So now they have to start selling KIDANI VILLAGE. Since KV is incomplete they can not give you your points, so they will give you DP to use in the interim. These points that they are giving seam less useful than traditional DP. I hear that they can only be used at SSR. The consolation is that new buyers do not have to pay this years MF and I hear they are giving $500 gift cards.

And more than likely they are not even completely "out".....but rather just trying to steer people towards Kidani. More than likely they do have some with certain use years as PP's have said. This way if someone is insisitent for AKV they might have something available. But either way they will be out soon.

I doubt it will affect resale market much, by the time you list, get through ROFR and close a decent amount of time will have passed and you will be staring down the barrel of the opening of Kidani soon anyway.
