AKV refillable mug

Hi...hope this isn't too silly a question. I was just wondering what drink items are available to use with the refillable mugs? Also this is off the subject but do the villas have pitchers? Is there only one? I am such an over - preplanner! While I'm here....do you know if the cinnamon rolls and pastried at Mara can be purchased with snack credits and if they are available the grab at night so you van have them in the morn in the villa or how early d they open? TIA!!!!

We were just down to Kidani last week. The drink choices were your basic coke, diet coke, ... there was a Poweraid fruit punch, lemonade... and of course, coffee. As far as a pitcher, there was one but it was small. I was glad that I packed a tupperware one. I just packed all of my Crysal Lite drink mixes right inside of it... and a couple of poptarts for my daughter as well. Sorry, don't know about the cinnamon rolls...

I do not recall any cinnamon rolls at Mara.. and I tend to remember those things...

I will give you another posibility, as you leave MK, stop in the Main Street Bakery and order some of those wonderful, giant cinnamon rolls to-go! (yes, they have plastic boxes and large bags to hold a few, and they'll bring out another plate if it is near empty, even at park closing) They're still yummy after a few seconds in the microwave the next am! (and you'll only have to walking all the way to your private balcony, sitting, watching the animals!)

These are the mugs at Kidani-

Can someone verify that they're the same design at every resort? At Kidani, you buy them in the store offf the lobby. Over at Jambo, you buy them in Mara (at most places you buy them in the resort's CS).

Thanks for posting the picture. Does that mean we can't get water with the re-fillable mug? What about at the pool bar? Could we ask the pool bar attendant to have them filled with water?

I cannot say for the whole year, but we stayed at SSR in Dec, AS Mov in Sept and BW in April .. ALL the same mugs. They changed them some time after nye 2008, though it was blue and white end of 2008. So it is not unreasonable to switch soon. I love my mugs.. going in 22 days and hope it is the same!

I have seen so many people using their old mugs - even from years ago.

I do not think anyone cares or checks. I keep telling my wife we should bring our old ones but she insists on buying a new one every trip.

There is also hot water, tea, and hot chocolate. For the tea and hot chocolate, we had to ask at the cashier and she would let us select the tea or give us the instant chocolate to use with the hot water.

My kids love the hot chocolate...even in summer. This year we let them go down by themselves in the mornings to get some. For some reason, that is something they look forward to!
