Is there anywhere that you can "see" the configuration of rooms at Kidani? We are going to try to book a 2BR and 3 studios for June later this week and I just wanted to see how close together our four rooms could possibly be. I didn't know if there is a map with specific room types or something to show where the rooms are shown by location.

There is a good chance that your rooms will not be together. Different floors, different sections. You can request it but that doesn't mean it will be honored.

When you get the reservation numbers of all 4 rooms call, e-mail, or chat with MS and have a "Travel with" notice placed on ALL the rooms of the other three reservation numbers. That way the CM doing the room assignments will know you are traveling as one party, other requests you are making, and request that your rooms be near each other. By near that includes being on different floors but on top/bottom of one another. If you want to be on the same floor make that be your first priority request.

There are only three types of rooms: (a) GVs, which are in many but not all building pods on the wings and are only part of the iop floor of the pods there are in; (b) dedicated 2BRs meaning they can only be 2BRs and have only one room number and entry door; (c) lock-off 2BRs, menaing they can also be separate studio and 1BR and have have two room numbers, one for the door to the studio and one for the door to the 1BR.

Except for top floor where there can be a GV along with other rooms, and except for the smaller, very end building pod on the end of each wing, each floor in each pod will have the following: two dedicated 2BRs and a lock-off 2BR on each side or, instead , two lock-off 2BRs and a dedicated 2BR. As a result, if you have a 2BR and three studios, you can possibly get them within striking distance of each other but you cannot get them all in the same pod on the same floor if they are all standard view or all savanna view except possibly on the north wing where some of the pods have half the rooms on each floor facing Sunset savanna and the other half facing Pembe. You could request that Pumba area and same floor along with that traveling with request to try for the same pod although you should not count on it. You could also have different floors but request rooms all near the same elevator, such as the Rafiki elevator which is between the second and third pods from the lobby on the north wing, or the Timon elevator between the second and thrid pods from the lobby on the south wing.
