Thanks...staying @ AKV for the first time in April. Can't wait...though I'm afraid I'll miss my home. It's the first time I'm "stepping out" on it.

I'm sure you'll have a great time at AKV! The atmosphere is unlike any other resort on property.

We love it too. We have a THV booked for Oct, but are considering changing to BLT if we can get in. Both dh and I really want to go back to Kidani, but the kids want to try BLT. Just love those rooms and the huge showers in the master. Plus the living room felt even bigger than OKW. Can't beat the theming and the feel of the resort. Will always be my favorite resort on property, with many others a close second. So many great resorts, so little vacation time.

having now stayed at all the WDW dvc resorts, I can definitely say that AKV is still our fave - we loved Jambo, but also loved Kidani when we stayed in a huge 2 bedroom last summer. Nothing like seeing the animals out your balcony..

DH and I stayed at Kidani SV last year for 4 nights then moved to OKW. We both liked Kidani, but after 4 nights we were ready to move to OKW because the lighting in the rooms seemed so dim at Kidani. Maybe it was just our eyesight, but we both noticed it.
