Are the 50 year leasehold end-dates different for Jambo vs Kidani?

Kidani occupancy didn't start until ~5/09. If I remember correctly, Jambo started sometime in late 2007. The leaseholds for the AKV last thru 2057. Shouldn't Kidani have a later end-date?

I may be wrong but I remember that you couldn't really use your pts (? anywhere) until 5/09 if you bought a Kidani contract.

Thanks in advance for the clarification.

For the first ten years or so all DVC resorts had the same termination date. SSR was the first, since OKW, to have a full 50 year contract.

All of the sales periods for resorts lasted for multiple years. The last purchasers all acquired contracts with less time remaining then the first in. And they typically paid more per point as time passed.

AKV is one resort. Jambo House and Kidani Village are just locations within AKV.

I agree w/ pp, they are both phases of the same resort. SSR was in 3 phases, and if you bought when they were selling the THV, your end date was/is the same as if you bought phase 1. 2054.

They aren't 50-year leases. They are leases until whatever date Disney picked.

When OKW opened, the lease ran 50 years until 2042. Then when BWV, VWL and BCV, the lease still ran through 2042. BVC owners barely got 40 years.
