AKV Jambo standard - TP Room Request

Hi! I’ve never had much luck with room requests so thought I’d try something different and do the touringplans fax. We are in a standard view 1BR at AKV Jambo. I’ve seen the map that has the standard and savanna views highlighted but TP doesn’t seem to match up? Our only options on there seem to be in the first section of Kudo Trail (5216ish) or pool view. Should I stick with this or pick one of the ones that are highlighted standard on that map even if TP lists it as savanna? I don’t mind 5216 because it seems fairly close to the lobby but I know the better views are further out. And considering our track record, I know these are definitely not guaranteed requests haha! Thanks for any help!

Thank you! I had seen your first link, but didn't go far enough back in search to get to the second one! Should've known! It's driving me batty that many of the 1BR marked as standard view on the blue/green highlighted map are showing as savanna on TP! I don't want to take a chance of requesting an actual savanna view room, instead of a standard that's just incorrectly showing as savanna on there. Might just stick with the (hopeful but know it's unlikely) request of 5216!

DVC has pretty much told members not to bother sending faxes since they usually just toss them out. Just add any requests to your reservation through MS.
