AKV/Jambo House room database is now available!

Remember that project to gather data on all of the Jambo House rooms? (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1848261) tjkraz has made all of the data available in a searchable web database so you can all access the results! He has data available for most of the other DVC resorts as well. Click here for the official announcement!. He's looking for additional info and balcony photos for all of the resorts (and offering some incentives) so take a look at the announcement for details.

I want to thank everybody who helped me with this project! A big thanks goes to "Alexander" who walked the whole of Jambo House to gather data on every GV and the hallways leading up to them which were impossible to figure out from the map. Thanks also to John/jdvm from Owner's Locker who took time out during a stop at AKV to check some room numbers in a section way, way down the Kudu Trail. And of course to Tim/tjkraz for making the data available on the web as part of his larger project to gather data for every DVC room!

wow....don't know where I've been because this is the first I'm hearing of this project ! We just stayed in a one bedroom AKV and would love to supply photos of room/balcony as requested on the site. I registered on the site but don't know where or what to do from there.

We actually have specs on 7 of the 8 DVC resorts posted in database format. Some of them started with the spreadsheets that "InstImpress" used to maintain. Others were created through our own research efforts. We'd love to get details on any of the DVC resorts!

With any luck I posted a photo for you from my room at AKV in May. If the main picture is too dark, let me know and I will play with it in photoshop. Yes, I used the same login name on DVC news as here.
