What are my chances of booking AKV 7 months out for late August I wanted to stay there at Club level. It looks like they have a lot for the kids to do at this resort. I am hoping that I don't have a problem. Also I am looking to do a 50 pt add on, Should I do at AKV or my home SSR or I should I hold off for the CR.

Thanks

I don't think you are going to get AKV Concierge at 7 months. Aren't there only five two bedroom lockoffs available for Concierge? I'd bet they go at 11 months out.

If you ever want to stay at AKV Concierge, you might want to make your add-on at AKV to get the 11 month advantage.

Oh well, I wanted a one bedroom. What do you think my chances are for a regular room than? Also can I book a regular room and pay to upgrade to conceirge?

If you want concierge, you will have to book with cash through AKL, not AKV. Unless you have AKV points and reserve at 11 months out exactly. You can't book a one bedroom villa and pay to upgrade to concierge. It doesn't happen.

The two bedroom lockoffs can be reserved as one bedrooms or studios or two bedrooms or any combination thereof. But there are only FIVE two bedroom lockoffs for AKV Concierge. So the most number of members who could book at AKV Concierge is 10 - five studios and five one bedrooms. The fewest number would could book would be 5 - five two bedrooms.

If you want to stay at the AKV Concierge, you will need AKV points and book at 11 months out. If you want to stay at AKL Concierge/Club Level, you'll need to call 1-407-WDISNEY and have a credit card ready.

You can always except a transfer for AKV points and make sure MS knows to use the points for the AKV resort. Call MS and ask them, you are allowed one transfer in or out per UY. If I was considering a Add on, I would do it at the resort that I needed the 11 month booking window at the most. I have Concierge booked for a studio for next May, I booked it the day I was allowed to. They will be very hard to book, but on day one that you are allowed to, I would call and see if it is available. You never know.

What do you mean by transfer? I am confused

You can have points transfered from another DVC member that has AKV points. You can purchase the points from the rent/trade board.

don't know but late Aug and Sept - are the least crowds for WDW - that is why free dinning happens then.

You might have a chance. but only a chance.

Well I currently have a room booked on concierge level for 8/17-8/22/08 and it was pretty easy to get at the 11-month window, but I'm not sure how full it is now.

You can always get on a waitlist if not available.

How hard will this be to get a Studio in July Savana View for 7 nights? How many Studios are there? Thanks for your help.
